DESCRIPTION: The Varicom Apex is a modular three-component sleep system engineered for soldiers facing unpredictable conditions and dynamic mission requirements. Combining the Delta 30-degree bag, Gamma 0-degree bag, and waterproof Bivy shelter, the system adapts from temperate to extreme environments with sleep systems ISO tested to -40 degrees. Integrated attachments enable rapid configuration changes and fast exits, while Climashield Combat insulation and Gore-Tex fabric deliver reliable warmth and weather resistance when conditions deteriorate. Whether you're moving light in moderate weather or hunkered down in a winter storm, the Varicom Apex gives you the flexibility to meet the mission. FEATURES: • Designed to be integrated with other Varicom Apex system components. • When combined with Delta and Gamma sleeping bags this system is ISO tested –40-degrees rated. • Gore-Tex 3-layer fabric with fully taped seams provides breathable, weatherproof coverage. • Delrin rod hood tents bivy above you, keeping fabric off of your face for unrestricted breathing. • Interior-accessible mesh window enables ventilation and situational awareness. • Integrated attachments prevent bag twisting when layered with other Apex components. • Center-meeting side zippers facilitate rapid entry and exit.
