DESCRIPTION:

A design collaboration between the owners of BCS and Tactical Advantage. The concealed carry hip belt pouch fills a void for a much needed way to carry concealed while hiking with larger pack systems. Carrying a weapon concealed while hiking with an assault sized day pack or even 3-day pack is business as usual for most of us. However, when the large padded belts that accompany most multi-day hiking packs that are required to carry heavier loads over long distances get factored in, carrying concealed anywhere in the hip/pelvis area becomes problematic. The pouch is designed for compact and mid size sidearms, but will accommodate certain full size sidearms as well, see pouch dimensions below for fitment decisions. Pictured below in the pouch is a Glock 19 blue gun with spare mag utilizing the Tactical Tailor hook backed universal holster and Glock 19 RMR utilizing the Maxpedition Sneek Holster.

The BCS Concealed Carry Hip Belt Pouch integrates best with a MOLLE/PALS compatible belt system, but due to the unique locking design of the laser cut securing straps these can be channeled to use as a slide-on for use with a non-molle pack belt. Additionally, the small loops that reside at each end of the two-way zipper allows for an anchor point to use a silk clip, shock cord or 550 cord to anchor the pouch to the pack body or rear area of the belt to inhibit horizontal movement of the pouch. This same attachment method also allows the pouch to be slide onto a standard 1.5" gun belt, 1.75" rigger belt or 2" LBE web belt for non pack use.

Additionally, the pouch includes in inverted internal sleeve pocket that secures a 1/4" piece of supplied removable foam to reduce the imprint of your sidearm. The 4" wide loop side Velcro™ is placed horizontally across the middle section of the pouch for securing the hook side Velcro™ holster platform of your choice. We are working on a holster option of our own design to be offered with this pouch in the near future.
